**The role**

The Art Separator is responsible for preparing and optimising artwork files for clothing production. This includes tasks such as image manipulation, color correction, and file setup. The Art Separator collaborates closely with the Project Manager and Production Manager to ensure that graphics and designs align with print specifications, resulting in the production of high-quality clothing lines.

**Essential Function**:

- Utilise software tools such as Photoshop and Illustrator to set up and assemble artwork files for color separation.
- Clean and proof artwork files, ensuring they are free from errors and ready for production.
- Perform color correction and edits to enhance the visual quality of the designs.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager and Production Manager to understand and meet print specifications.
- Create detailed print-specification documentation, including information on sequence, meshes, Pantones (color codes), and placements of graphics.
- Upload print-specification documentation for Sampling and Production, including clear callouts for specific design elements.
- Prioritize and manage allocated work orders in Airtable, ensuring that tasks are completed in the order of priority to maintain a smooth production flow

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in graphic design software, especially Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Strong understanding of color theory and the ability to perform accurate color correction.
- Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring artwork files are error-free and meet print specifications.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage and prioritize tasks in accordance with production needs.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with Project Managers, Production Managers, and other team members.
- Knowledge of garment production processes and print techniques is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
