- PR/020190_1671750088Finite are seeking Defence Technicians and Technical Officers with combat systems experience to join our industry leading Defence technology client as they continue deliver and support complex state-of-the-art systems to Defence.

Playing a key role within the maritime engineering team. You will be responsible for providing key maintenance services to support Navy's combat systems on multiple naval platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**

Assist in the coordination and planning of technical maintenance activities

Provide support and carry out essential combat systems maintenance activities

Coordinate and perform all planned and corrective maintenance activities

Guarantee combat system fault diagnosis is being carried out and managed within regulatory standards

Review, manage and maintain technical publications

Support maintenance scheduling activities and assist in the coordination of sub-contract activities

Carry out technical investigations to identify defects in order to report and manage as appropriate

**Skills & Experience**

Certificate III or IV in Electronics, Electrical and Communications Engineering or related discipline

5 - 10 years Defence engineering experience

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Naval Combat systems, ideally 9LV

Demonstrated experience in field fault diagnosis and repair of electronic and electrical equipment

Experience in reviewing and writing engineering technical publications

Hold an active Defence security clearance or have the ability to attain
