About the role
The role is part of CAV's Underquoting Taskforce, which addresses the unfair and deceptive practice of underquoting that can mislead prospective buyers in the residential real estate market. The taskforce aims to understand the drivers and behaviours behind underquoting and to develop strategies that eliminate these practices, thereby boosting consumer confidence in CAV's regulation of the real estate industry.
Reporting to the Taskforce Lead, the underquoting taskforce officer plays a crucial role in supporting both the Taskforce Lead and other key areas such as Intelligence, Investigations and Compliance monitoring. The role is responsible for tracking all taskforce operational outputs and supporting auction monitoring campaigns.
About you
**To be considered for the role, you must be able to**:

- Organise and prioritise a variety of tasks including being the first point of contact on the Taskforce Lead's behalf with CAV staff, managers, other Departments and staff, taking follow-up action as required.
- Coordinate Branch reporting requirements including the capture and reporting of performance measures
- Contribute to the coordination of daily activities, process improvements and other branch activities
- Under general direction, assist in research and analysis activities, and prepare discussion papers, briefs, reports and presentations as required
- Provide administrative and operational support and assistance to the Taskforce Lead, General Manager and other senior staff in the branch, including for example, handling confidential HR and financial records, arranging meetings and workshops, preparing general correspondence on a range of issues.
