**About the Role**:
Our Small to Medium Business (SMB) Sales team is focused on driving growth through our valued channel sales partners. In this role, you'll work closely with both internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to enhance sales performance, with a strong emphasis on quality and compliance. As the Channel Manager, your primary purpose is to optimise the delivery of high-quality sales through external partners while maintaining strong operational relationships. With ambitious growth goals for our SMB segment, you'll play a key role in supporting Origin’s broader SME channel strategy and delivering strong commercial outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the performance and growth of SME third-party sales channels, ensuring delivery against key metrics such as Net Customer Position, revenue, cost per sale, and customer lifetime value.
- Develop and execute strategic Channel Plans to support campaign delivery, maintain a healthy sales pipeline, and meet commercial and quality targets.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory obligations, managing complaints, training, and quality assurance in partnership with internal teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders to optimise channel performance and identify new business opportunities.
- Manage accurate commission and incentive payments, with transparent reporting and regular performance updates to leadership.
- Oversee data processes related to sales and customer information, ensuring alignment with legal, regulatory, and Origin compliance frameworks.

**About You**:

- Experience in working with channel partners, ideally within the energy services or utilities sector.
- Proven experience developing and managing third-party channel relationships and delivering high-volume sales or partnership programs.
- Strong background in channel planning, performance management, and sales operations, particularly within SME sales environments.
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness and ability to travel interstate regularly to support partner relationships and campaign delivery.
