**ABOUT THE CLIENT**
Our client is a Queensland Local Government agency based in Brisbane’s Southside, and they are seeking
**Administration Officers. **This is a short term, 6 - 12 month opportunity.
**KEY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Provide administration support, maintain registers, issue and order following Council services:
- Cab Charge, reconciliation of accounts
- Corporate Credit Cards
- Corporate Procurement Program administration duties including:
- Faxes, photocopying, preparation of tender documents
- Assist other Program staff
- Prepare correspondence and letters, and maintain administration procedure manuals
- Undertake minor purchases via purchase orders and credit card
- Perform ad hoc admin duties delegated by Program Leaders and/or Administration Manager

**KEY REQUIREMENTS**:
- Year 12 certificate or equivalent
- Previous council/government experience is advantageous
- Previous administration experience is necessary
- Competent keyboard and word processing skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office package
- High degree of literacy and numeracy
- The ability to draft accurate business letters and memos
- Sound communication skills
- Work as part of a team
- Previous council experience is well regarded
