Jobs for Mob An exciting opportunity exists for an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Clinical Assistant/Allied Health Assistant. The permanent position will be based in the inpatient rehabilitation service and the temporary position will be based in the acute wards of Sunshine Coast University Hospital. These roles will provides therapeutic management to patients with a wide range of diagnoses and will be a highly functioning member of the Allied Health teams for these wards by providing clinical support tasks delegated under the direct or indirect supervision of an Allied Health Professionals.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
- Provide a defined range of clinical screening assessments as delegated and allowed by testing guidelines and legislation.
- Provide a defined range of treatments as prescribed by the AHP and work under their general direction including using decision support tools, clinical pathways and patient guidelines.
- Perform safe practice in the performance of material handling tasks, patient manual handling and positioning techniques.
- Initiate changes to treatment programs using results from standardised assessment tools.
