We are looking for a casual medical receptionist to join our friendly team of Doctors and allied health professionals. Previous experience is preferred but not necessary.

We are a dedicated team in a bulk billing clinic in Beenleigh. We have an attached dental clinic and pathology collection centre as part of our building.

We are looking for a genuine and compassionate team player, with the following attributes:

- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional telephone manner, confidently handling calls and enquiries in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise, using excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Show initiative
- Well presented, punctual and reliable
- Proficient computer skills
- Best Practice software experience highly desirable but not necessary

Duties to include:

- Meet and greet patients
- Scheduling appointments
- Patient invoicing and payments
- General support to doctors, nurses and practice manager
- General light cleaning

Position is for approx. 25hrs in a variety of shifts throughout the week, with flexibility to cover sick and holiday leave. This will include every Saturday or every 2nd Saturday (paid at the higher hourly rate of $49). Immediate start.

Casual position, with opportunity to change to permanent part time in the future.

Pay: $28.00 - $49.69 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Medical admin: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (required)

- Australia (required)
