Your opportunity:

We have a full-time opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our team in Brisbane's exciting new Medicinal Cannabis clinic and dispensary.  Whether you are a Pharmacist wanting to move away from retail to something more grass roots, or looking to master a new class of medications, this opportunity will excite you.

You will practice as part of a team that provides face to face and remote Medical and Pharmacy services to patients from diverse backgrounds, delivering patient education and medicines to change lives in ways that previously were not possible.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to enhance your clinical knowledge and your career in an evolving health space, working with Technicians, Receptionists, Pharmacists, Nurses, and Doctors. We are a progressive team, maximising opportunities for change, growth and better patient outcomes.

Your role will include:

  • Dispensing of Medicinal Cannabis prescriptions. (Cannabis experience not necessary)
  • Liaising with on-site Prescribers to maximise patient care and health outcomes
  • Educating and counselling patients in the use of Medicinal Cannabis and associated medical equipment (training provided)
  • Supervising Dispense Technicians in the dispensing of Medicinal Cannabis and associated administration tasks.
  • Pharmacy compliance administration tasks (online DD book management etc)
  • Supporting Practice Managers in the maintenance of Doctor appointment books and booking procedures
  • Supervising the processing of sales and customer service
  • Processing incoming stock orders
