**The Role**

As a **Professional Risks Underwriter** based in Brisbane, you will be a part of a high performing team underwriting professional risks, while working within your authority. You will negotiate terms on accounts to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes with all parties involved and ensuring that a balanced and profitable portfolio of Professional Indemnity and Directors & Officers (including Management Liability) risks are achieved. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, negotiation skills, excellent time management skills and ability to multitask.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring high quality underwriting of professional risks to ensure long term sustainable profitable results
- Providing a high level of customer service to our Broking partners
- The ability to nurture and grow relationships within the industry
- Handling a range of queries and provision of advice within service level agreements

**Skills & Experience**
- 3+ years General Insurance experience is essential
- Underwriting/professional risks experience is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Results outcome focused
- Team player
- Open to discussion & challenge
