**The opportunity**
Our client is a community focused federal government agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for an APS5 Sector Engagement Procurement Officer to join the team.
12-month initial Labour Hire contract with the opportunity to extend. APS5 level role paying an hourly rate of $53.63 + Superannuation, to be based out of Richmond, including 2 days working from home each week, with the remaining 3 on site.
**Your responsibilities will include**:
- Contributing to the development and implementation of contract management plans
- Administering and managing relevant Sector Engagement & Advice contracts in accordance with approved Contract Management Plans, policies and processes
- Maintain records and managing and responding to queries in line with policies and processes
- Collaborating, building, and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Supporting, guiding, sharing learnings and upskilling PEP suppliers and DRCOs as required
- Proactively identifying and managing contract risks to meet contract requirements and obligations, and achieve the planned outcomes of the contracts
- Supporting the team in tender management, supplier selection, contractor, and performance activities
- Informing and supporting the development of and future PEP panel refresh in collaboration with the Director, Branch Manager, Procurement, Probity, Legal Services, Risk, Research & Evaluation, Communications & Engagement, and other key stakeholders involved in the process
- Informing the development of relevant communication plans and strategies in collaboration with team members and the Communications team
