**About the Company**

Our client is a highly successful mid sized Financial Services organisation with a true breadth of investments across private equity, venture capital and active funds including a Property Credit Fund. They have an established reputation for high quality deals. The opportunity within the property credit fund is to leverage off the business's institutional infrastructure and loyal investor base to build a billion dollar + real estate credit strategy.

Over the last few years the group has built small and scaleable high margin private lending against established Australian real estate on a first mortgage basis. Now is the opportunity to grow this fund to sit alongside a suite of other very successfiul producets being offered to the organsation's investors.

**About the role**

Key responsibilities include:

- **Capital Raising**:

- Assess and build new clients leveraging off other business units loyal customers
- **Transaction Execution** - Preparation and presentation of deal analysis
- **Investment Management - **Manage existing Clients to promote retention
- **Origination** - Support the business development strategy
- **Governance/Business Excellence - **Participate in/Manage as appropriate business risks and drive process improvement
- **Leadership** - you will lead and grow a small team whilst not being afraid to be entrepreneurial in spirit and get involved at a hands on level

**Key Experience/Qualifications**
- Driven and Entrepreneurial
- Tertiary Qualification in a relevant discipline (Economics, Finance, Property, Valuation)
- ~5 + years proven experience in the property/finance industry
- Knowledge of property debt capital markets
- Strong understanding of property, credit & investment lifecycles
- Experience in the private lending space favourable
