**About the team**
The Services team, based at Glen Eira’s Works Depot, is made up of 15 staff across sub teams of graffiti removal, signage and street furniture, care crew, store, and workshop. We work to provide infrastructure and asset maintenance services, actioning over 3,000 requests for maintenance each year to keep Glen Eira clean.

**About the role**
Our Street Sweeping and Graffiti Management officer will be the go-to person for liaising and negotiating with a variety of stakeholders—clients, the public, and contractors. Your strong communication skills will be essential as you ensure everyone is on the same page and working together seamlessly.
- Other responsibilities include:_
- Monitoring, auditing and reporting on the quality of work carried out by street sweeping and graffiti removal contract providers, ensuring contractual obligations are met and services are delivered to high standards
- Contributing to the preparation of reports, prosecution case files and briefing notes for Council Civic Compliance units and other departments, as required.
- Programing and issuing work orders, measure completed work within timeframes and undertake regular supervision of works by contractors.

**About you**
Are you passionate about enhancing community spaces and maintaining a clean environment? We’re looking for someone with solid experience in building, facilities, or construction management to guide our team to deliver the highest quality services.

A solid grasp of graffiti removal techniques and current legislation will be important, as will your experience in budget control and financial management.

The following is also required:

- Knowledge of graffiti removal techniques and practices or similar building maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of current legislation and an ability to explain and interpret such legislation.
- High level of written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in budget control and financial management.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence.
