- Valid Working with Children Check, First Aid, and CPR
- Experience caring for newborns and school-aged children
- A minimum of 2 years in a similar role

- Confident in the kitchen

**ROLE DESCRIPTION**

This friendly and organised family is seeking a compassionate and flexible nanny to provide support 2 days per week. You’ll help care for a gentle 7-year-old who enjoys imaginative play, reading, and crafts. Responsibilities include occasional school drop-offs and pick-ups for the 7-year-old (the local school is 1km away). Caring for the newborn will also evolve in the job as Mum transitions back to work.

Household support will mainly involve preparing simple family meals, so we seek someone confident in the kitchen. The family have a cleaner and maintains an organised home, so mínimal housekeeping tasks will be required.

The family values strong communication, flexibility, and compassion, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys supporting a well-structured household while nurturing children at different stages of development.

This tight-knit family hopes this support role will give them more family time. Mum runs her own local business, and Dad works in emergency services. They value open communication, emotional intelligence, and reliability. The household includes a shy cat named Rory, who will mostly keep to himself.
