- $36+ per hour (Weekdays)
- $50+ per hour (Saturdays)
- $60+ per hour (Sundays)
- $75+ per hour (Public Holidays)

**Your Role**

As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to people with complex needs, helping them live independently. Your responsibilities will include:

- **Personal care** - Supporting people to cook, shower, groom, take medication safely, move around their home, and more.
- **Community & social engagement** - Encouraging and joining our clients as they participate in local activities.
- **Supporting clients with behavioural & mental health needs** - Working with effective Positive Behaviour Support Plans and Practitioners.
- **Helping families with complex needs** - Providing emotional and practical support.
- **Flexible travel across Sunshine Coast** - Bringing care where it’s needed most.

**What You Need to Get Started**

**Essential**:

- Yellow Card or NDIS Worker Screening (or willing to obtain).
- Blue Card (or willing to obtain).
- First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain).
- Driver’s license & reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module & COVID-19 Infection Control Certificate (free online).
- Positive attitude, passion, and physical fitness.

**Preferred (but not required)**:

- 2+ years of experience in disability support.
- Experience with Restrictive Practices & PBSP.
- Certificate III/IV in Individual Support, Allied Health, or Mental Health.
- Studying or qualified in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Social Work, Psychology).
