**The Role**

**Criteria**
- Experience working in in a customer facing consulting role.
- Experience in transport logistics is essential, both domestic and international freight forwarding.
- Experience working onsite in Exhibitions, Trade Shows and Conferences.
- Must be able to travel interstate from time to time.
- Supervision and/or coordination of contractors and event staff as required.

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver excellent customer service that is prompt, true and accurate. This is to be applied to pricing, inventory, status updates and all other logistics related enquiries.
- Stakeholder management (internal and external).
- Quoting, booking and tracking jobs to ensure consignments are delivered onsite, on time and every time.
- Liaising with different transport/logistics suppliers booking and confirming transport movements, and equipment requirements.
- Accurately updating the company system so that it reflects real time tracking.
- In conjunction with the organiser and other major contractors, plan and develop a MIMO schedule tailored to the event.
- Act as the consultant between Gel and the customer.
- Following up leads, maximising revenue across each event.
- Accountable for the P&L of each event, you must be able to read and interpret a profit and loss.
- All payments relating to your event must be received prior to the first day of move in. Any discounts must be appropriately approved.
- Ensure payments made by account clients are within the guidelines for Company Credit Policy
- Attend telephone enquiries, everyone chips in and answers the office line.
- Prepare onsite documentation to share with the operations team.
- Local and interstate travel will be required from time to time when you are expected to be onsite delivering your clients events.
- Adhere to OHS/WHS obligations as required by law
- Any other requirements as directed by management.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year

**Experience**:

- Transportation management: 3 years (required)
- Events management: 3 years (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)
