**The Role**
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) offers more than 150 different jobs, some of which are considered particularly complex and/or high risk from a psychological standpoint, including roles in Aviation, Intelligence, Cyber Warfare, Submarine Warfare, and Special Forces. Applicants for these complex roles undergo targeted psychological assessments as part of their selection process.
**About our Team**
These functions are integral to the ADF's ability to optimise its human capability through effective recruitment and management, by (a) ensuring those we recruit are a good 'fit' with both the ADF and their preferred occupation, and (b) contributing to the ADF's ability to manage the mental health and wellbeing of ADF members appropriately.
- Knowledge of and experience in data management systems and data governance
- Knowledge of and experience in procurement and contract management in the ICT environment
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, especially the ability to liaise and work with researchers and data managers to develop a sound understanding of their data requirements
- Ability to influence, negotiate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to identify best fit solutions
- Ability to respond flexibly to changing situations to ensure the success and timeliness of key deliverables
- Experience building and leading teams, including mentoring and building expertise
