**Your role and responsibilities**
This is a hands-on role, providing personalised care and community support to individuals with intellectual disabilities. Your responsibilities include:
- Providing **person-centred care** to clients, focusing on their individual needs and goals.
- Assisting clients with community access and social support, helping them participate in activities and events they enjoy.
- Supporting independence through skill development in daily tasks such as going to the gym and cooking meals at home.
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times.
- **Accurate note-taking**: Maintain clear, timely records of the care provided to ensure the best ongoing support for our clients.

**Qualifications and requirements**
You should either have or be willing to obtain the following:
- A relevant qualification in nursing, disability, or community services.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and **NDIS Introductory Modules**.
- National Police Check and **Working with Children Check (Employee)**.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Valid driver's licence and comprehensive insurance.
- **Manual handling** and **medication assistance** training.
