**The Company**
One of Australia's most recognized and trusted names in residential construction, this organisation has more than 1000 employees. Since the 1980's this business has evolved and continues to grow rapidly both organically and through acquisition with the vision of being Australia's leading home builder. Due to continued growth they are seeking a results driven and proactive HSE Manager to join the team in South Australia.**The Role**
Working as an enabler and partner to the businesses, helping them to own safety, you will roam across all sites in South Australia to ensure the effective execution of the Health and Safety Management System. Key focus areas will include incident management, safety observations, contractor management and consulting with operating departments in the design and implementation of safety programs. You will be focused on continuous improvement and encouraging a proactive safety culture throughout the business.
- This role requires someone with excellent leadership skills, ability to plan and implement and happy to be hands-on. The role reports through to the national HSE Manager and has one direct report, the Safety Advisor.**About you**
To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in a hands on HSE role within a construction (or similar, high-risk) environment. You will have leadership experience or be an experienced Advisor looking to step up into a Manager role.
- You will have excellent stakeholder engagement, coaching and leadership capability. You will have experience with relevant legislation, be able to communicate with regulatory bodies and the willingness to travel to sites in SA.**Culture and Benefits**
