Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to join our team in Adelaide, in this role you will undertake day-to-day direction from management and is responsible for delivery of HSE systems and process in support of EPC and assignment activities.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for site HSE management, including inspection, auditing, support coaching and mentoring the workforce, specifically around safe and quality behaviours, accountability for safety and quality, toolbox talks, interventions and creating a proactive compliant and mindful culture within the project team
- Understands the scope of ECP, associated supporting activities and the associated risks
- Guides & coaches’ workforce in identifying, implementing and continually improving HSE processes and procedures

Skills / Qualifications:

- Minimum Diploma HSE or equivalent
- Accident/incident Investigator, e.g. Taproot/ICAM
- Confined Space, Work at Heights competency, First Aid
- Injury management, workers compensation and return to work
- Minimum 7 years in a technical role, or association with HSE role in another Oil & Gas or similar industry
- Previous experience and sound knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and state regulations
- Familiarisation with Oil &Gas, construction and other relevant legislation and regulations
- Broad HSE experience in Oil & Gas
- Experience operating in EPC sector
- Strong HSE planning and organisational skills
- Effective/competent MS office suite user
- High level of oral and written communication skills in both written and spoken format
- Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
