- $88,960 pa inclusive of industry and uniform allowances (level 4) + 12% super + additional allowances applicable
- 76 hour fortnight

**About the role**
As a Parks Grounds Maintenance Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of assigned maintenance teams, ensuring tasks are well-planned, coordinated and executed efficiently. Your role is key in maintaining seamless workflows, providing guidance to your crews, and driving high-quality service delivery. This includes:
- Leading and supervising the daily operations of your assigned crews while prioritising safety and development.
- Managing work programs and resources by overseeing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery to Council’s quality standards.
- Addressing relevant customer requests and providing prompt responses and professional advice to relevant stakeholders.
- Providing technical guidance and supporting teams (and contractors) in identifying and resolving maintenance issues for optimal results.
- Overseeing procurement and contractor performance to ensure projects stay within budget and meet agreed scope and standards
- Ensuring compliance with regulations - including environmental, heritage, WHS legislation and Council policy and safe work processes
- Fostering collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for optimal service outcomes.
- Assisting management with budget planning, equipment request submissions, and policy development.

Please note: This role requires participation in Council's _After Hours On-Call and Programmed Overtime Roster_ service.
**About you**
Ideally you have proven experience in a similar role with a strong background in grounds maintenance. Leadership in managing operational teams is essential.
We’re looking for someone with well-developed numeracy, written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to confidently use technology and various software packages.
Safety is a key priority for us as an organisation. We’re looking for someone who not only possesses the knowledge and physical ability to safely perform manual tasks but someone who also demonstrates a genuine commitment to fostering a positive safety culture.
In addition to these skills and experience, you must hold a minimum of:
- a current C class drivers licence
- a Construction Induction card
- a Certificate III in Horticulture, Parks and Gardens or another relevant field
