We’re now seeking a high-performing Site Operations Leader to streamline and drive support functions across production, logistics, safety, and administration.

The Opportunity

As the Operational Leader, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day and strategic operations of our prefabrication facility. This position bridges the gap between operations, logistics, safety, and project coordination. You will support the Business Operations Manager to deliver on business objectives through systems improvement, performance monitoring, and coordination of key workflows.

Key Responsibilities
- Operational Coordination
- Support daily production and fabrication activities to ensure alignment with delivery schedules and project deadlines
- Liaise with site supervisors, foremen, logistics teams, and workshop managers to streamline operational workflows
- Maintain visibility across inventory, order fulfilment, and material availability
- Planning & Scheduling
- Assist with short
- and long-term production planning
- Coordinate transport, crane bookings, and deliveries in line with client expectations
- Oversee rostering, shift planning, and resource allocation
- Process & Systems Support
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across workflow, systems, and reporting
- Maintain dashboards, production trackers, and KPI monitoring tools
- Collaborate with IT and external providers to ensure system performance and user adoption
- Health, Safety & Compliance
- Support the HSEQ team with documentation, audits, incident tracking and compliance reporting
- Promote a proactive safety culture aligned with ISO/ACRS certifications
- Ensure all operational documentation is maintained and aligned with QA processes
- People & Communication
- Act as the communication link between senior management and operations teams
- Assist with onboarding and training of staff across the operations and admin teams
- Coordinate toolbox talks, safety briefings, and team reporting
- Administrative Oversight
- Support procurement, purchase orders, delivery dockets, and timesheet processing
- Ensure accurate data entry and reporting across project control systems
- Provide general administrative and executive support to the Operations Director

Skills and Experience
- Essential:

- 3-5+ years in a construction, manufacturing, logistics, or fabrication support role
- Proven experience in operations coordination or site-based support
- Familiarity with steel fabrication or prefabrication workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and project tracking tools
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Position Purpose

The Operational Site Leader plays a critical role in supporting the day-to-day and strategic functions of the prefabrication facility. This role ensures seamless coordination between departments, drives process improvements, and ensures the effective implementation of operational plans in line with business objectives.

Qualifications & Experience
- Essential:

- 3-5+ years in manufacturing, logistics, or fabrication support role
- Proven experience in operations coordination or site-based support
- Familiarity with steel fabrication or prefabrication workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and project tracking tools
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Desirable:

- Understanding of construction safety and QA processes (e.g. ISO/ACRS)
- Sound experience in Microsoft Office and Excel.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
