**About the Role**

As an Allied Health Assistant, you will provide both clinical and non-clinical support, working with Allied Health Professionals such as Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists to ensure all patients receive high quality care.

This role will see you working in our inpatient rehabilitation with a variety of patient conditions and from young adult - elderly patients.

Working predominantly in physiotherapy department but opportunity for work with occupational and speech therapy.

**Your Skills and Experience**

This role will suit an individual with experience in patient manual handling along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively will be key to your success in this role along with the ability to work effectively as part of a professional team.

**You will also bring;**
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent or currently completing an undergraduate physiotherapy or exercise physiology degree.
- Basic knowledge of simple medical conditions, such as total Knee / hip / shoulder replacement
- Availability to work weekends
- Experience working in rehab/subacute setting will be highly favoured.
