**Clerk Grade 11/12 - $149,739 - $173,174 plus superannuation and leave loading**

**Your role**
- Working closely with Homes NSW Housing Services and Housing Portfolio branches, the Tenant Participation Manager will lead the design, delivery, and evaluation of local community development initiatives that strengthen tenant engagement and elevate lived experience

**What you’ll do**
- Leading a team of up to 6 direct reports, this role will manage a team focused on building and maintaining relationships with tenants and advocacy organisations to support continuous service improvement and community wellbeing.
- The responsibilities of this position will include (but are not limited to):

- Managing tenant participation teams across NSW to ensure governance compliance, achievement of key milestones, and delivery of high-impact engagement initiatives
- Overseeing tenant feedback systems and consultative mechanisms, engaging with residents, families, and community organisations to inform service improvements and strategic planning
- Designing and evaluating local social plans and community-based projects
- Being a voice for tenants and influencing service delivery and community outcomes, while effectively managing consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders
- Fostering partnerships and securing alternative funding, while leading specialised projects and reporting on progress to support continuous improvement and enhanced community outcomes

**What we’re looking for**

**Essential Requirements**
- The essential requirements of the role are:

- Tertiary qualifications in program management, community development, communications, public relations, policy or related discipline and/or relevant equivalent experience
- Willingness and capacity to travel to outer suburban and regional locations, and to work outside of core business hours in the evening and on weekends
- State program creation and delivery experience, including demonstrated experience in community engagement in placemaking or property development or infrastructure environment will be an advantage
- The ability to work autonomously as well as with a variety of differing stakeholders
- Experience leading, developing and motivating a team
- An empathetic and professional manner
- Strong decision-making and organisational skills to prioritise competing deadlines
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
