**About the opportunity**:
We have 2 exciting opportunities to fill within the fraud team here at Entain. This role offers you the chance to learn about Fraud trends within the wagering space, working collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The role requires an analytical thinker with an eye for anomalies, fraud trends, and patterns. You are proactive, customer-centric and have excellent communication skills to share findings, raise your concerns and problem-solve.

After mastering our current processes and procedures, you will play an essential part in finding areas we can improve or optimise the way we do things.

This is a growing team where you will get an excellent opportunity to be mentored by some of the best in this space, based in our Brisbane HQ location. This team is a 7-day working team, with 1-day minimum in the office, on a flexible roster so weekend shifts may be required.

The fraud team exists to prevent, detect and mitigate fraud and at-risk accounts in order to keep our customers and the wider community safe. **What you will do**
- Assist with the review of daily reports to identify unusual transactions and accounts.
- Ensure fraud loss is minimised, or prevented where possible, by taking prompt and appropriate action, as determined by the individual case.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive, and timely records of all activities in line with Entain Group and regulatory expectations.
- Collate Investigations including reports or written responses etc in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring appropriate stakeholders have been consulted where required.
- Maintaining files, ensuring accurate and current records.
- Liaise with key internal stakeholders on disputes, fraud inquiries and fraud prevention.

**We are looking for those that have**
- Knowledge and experience in Fraud detection or in a similar Operations role.
- Understanding of the Industry codes of practice and other relevant legislation including AML/CTF Act, Privacy Act and Criminal Code.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and achieve objectives.
- Ability to liaise with and forge strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with chargebacks is desirable.
- _Bonus points - if you have good knowledge of Entain Australia’s platforms Ladbrokes or/and neds. _
