**About the role**:
Reporting to the Front Office Manager you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the ‘night’ team, ensuring optimal guest service standards are met whilst managing staffing levels. Responsible for the smooth operation, security and monitoring of the Resort overnight.

**Duties**:

- Manage the overnight operations of the resort
- Responsible for the security and integrity of property and guests whilst on duty, adhering to company policy and legislation
- Maintain a high presence on the Reception Desk and assist the team process late check-ins and early morning check-outs. Audit daily work including accuracy of information and data
- Assist the Front Office Manager in training and development of team members and ensure procedures are adhered to
- Respond and recover to guest complaints and feedback
- Assist and maintain effective communication between all departments
- Act as the first point of contact for nightly operations within the Resort
- Cash and credit card handling
- Attend to all first aid incidents and complete reports accordingly
- Show flexibility and commitment to hours of work based on the business requirements

**Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in a Front Office team within a busy hotel or resort essential
- Must be a highly organised self-starter with the ability to effectively manage priorities
- Thorough understanding of Front Office operations and night audit processes essential
- High level of computer literacy with Opera PMS experience desirable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated high level of decision making skills and experience
- Self-driven with a strong background in leading a team
- Advanced First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation certificate essential, or be willing to obtain upon commencement
