**About the role**:
As the Duty Manager at Sea World Resort - Australia’s only theme park accommodation provider, you will ensure optimum guest service standards are met whilst managing staffing levels across all areas of the resort.

**Duties**:

- Maintain a high presence on our reception desk and assist the team to process check in’s and check out’s
- Assist the Front Office Manager in training and development of team members and ensure procedures are adhered to
- Respond and recover to guest complaints and feedback
- Assist and maintain effective communication between all departments
- Act as the first point of contact for daily operations within the Resort
- Cash and credit card handling
- Attend to all first aid incidents and complete reports accordingly
- Show flexibility and commitment to hours of work based on the business requirements

**Skills and Experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in a Front Office team within a busy hotel or resort essential
- Must be a highly organised self-starter with the ability to effectively manage priorities
- Thorough understanding of Front Office operations and night audit processes essential
- High level of computer literacy with Opera PMS experience desirable
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated high level of decision making skills and experience
- Self-driven with a strong background in leading a team
- Advanced First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation certificate essential, or be willing to obtain upon commencement
