Clinical Compliance and Education Manager

**Cranbrook Care is looking for motivated and dynamic Clinical Compliance and Education Manager to join the team at our West Street Support Centre in North Sydney.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
You will lead and have full responsibility for the quality, compliance and educational requirements of Cranbrook Care to ensure ongoing accreditation of all residences. Being and an expert in the Aged Care Act 1997 and the Aged Care Quality Standards 2019 you will oversee the clinical and non-clinical compliance of each residence to ensure accreditation.
You will
- ensure delivery of best practice quality clinical care and services in all Cranbrook Care residences
- ensure Cranbrook Care Policies and Procedures are up to date and reflect Australian legislation, and to ensure staff are trained in policies and procedures
- complete ‘walkthroughs’ and audits at each Cranbrook Care Aged Care residence and perform a gap analysis to identify areas of concern and/or non-compliance with accreditation requirements under Australian Aged Care Act 1997 and the Aged Care Quality Standards 2019.
- Spport the Quality Care and Support Manager and the Directors of Care Services (DOCS) to rectify areas of non-compliance identified in walkthroughs/audits to the standard required for accreditation in a timely manner.
- Coach and mentor DOCS to build their capability and to continuously improve operations to support ongoing accreditation
- Develop and maintain relationships with Registered Training Organisations including building new staff pipelines
- Collect, analyse and submit data required for external reporting to the National Aged Care Quality Indicator Program
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships in the residences and in the Cranbrook Care head office to support communication and collaboration
- Role model the Cranbrook Care culture and work according to Cranbrook Care values

**Skills & Qualifications**
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aged care in Australia
- Expert knowledge and understanding of Australian Aged Care legislation including the Australian Aged Care Act 1997 and the Australian Quality Standards 2019
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or demonstrable work experience to the same level essential
- ACQA auditing experience essential
- Mentor and leadership experience in a senior management role
- Demonstrable data collection and analysis skills
- Strong computer skills including excel and word
