We have an exciting opportunity for an Exploration Superintendent to join our North-West Queensland Exploration team. The exploration activities will be based out of Cloncurry and conducted throughout the Mount Isa Inlier.

Reporting to the Exploration Manager - QLD and working as part of the Exploration team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing exploration work programs. This is a permanent fulltime role offered on an 8:6 FIFO roster from Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane.

**The Role**
- Demonstrate proactive safety behaviour and leadership
- Exploration data compilation, integration, interpretation and review
- Generate and rank exploration targets
- Develop exploration work programs
- Coordination of all activities related to exploration programs
- Supervision of field-based exploration programs including drill campaigns, geophysical surveys, geochemical sampling and geological mapping
- Geological, geotechnical, geochemical and geophysical data validations and database management
- Tenement reporting
- Generating new and varied solutions to problems to improve existing work practices and procedures

**About you**
- Tertiary qualification in Geology
- Minimum of 7 years industry experience
- Knowledge of copper/gold and lead-zinc geology systems (desirable)
- Knowledge of Northwest Queensland geology (desirable)
- Effective communicator at all levels of the business
- Strong problem solving, communication, and leadership skills
- Organisational ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks
- Demonstrated commitment to safe work processes
- Proficient use of exploration software (QGIS, Leapfrog, ioGAS)
- A strong desire to learn and be part of a team of dedicated professionals
- Valid Manual Driver’s License
