**About the Role**
As a Dispute Resolution Team Manager, you will manage a team of Dispute Resolution Managers and Administration Assistants and provide technical advice to the broader Worker’s Compensation claims area, relevant to case management and dispute resolution.
You will manage Dispute Resolution Managers in their roles representing DXC Claims Management Services at Conciliation conferences (also attending conferences from time to time), deal with technical and complex disputes, attend meetings with external stakeholders including WIC and Worksafe, and regularly update stakeholders about progress, outcomes and handle dispute escalations.
**To be successful in the role;**
- Extensive knowledge within the workers’ compensation industry and an in-depth understanding of workers’ compensation legislation
- Demonstrated leadership and people management
- Drive to succeed and empower others
- Exposure to WorkSafe Victoria claims management systems
- Extensive experience in the workers’ compensation eligibility process, case management, and technical management
- Experience in dispute resolution
- Managing workflow and task allocation
- Liaising and providing support to claims teams
- Customer focused
- The ability to build and maintain strong relationships
- Advanced communication skills
- Strong stakeholder engagement
- The ability to adapt to different situations and driven to achieve outcomes
- Strong working knowledge of the _Accident Compensation Act_ 1985, _Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act_ 2013 and medical terminology.
