As the Construction Director - Major Projects you will be accountable for securing and supporting the delivery of major Transmission projects across the Transgrid major project portfolio. The Construction Director will integrate construction packaging strategies and develop innovative approaches to delivery, develop and review construction plans and monitor progress of allocated projects to ensure they’re on schedule and within quality and cost estimates and manage client and steering committee relationships. **What we expect from you**: - Demonstrated experience and success construction delivery practices on major Infrastructure projects >$500m. - Tertiary qualifications at degree level in an appropriate discipline such as engineering, construction management or business, or equivalent relevant experience. - Large scale civil, structural or electrical project delivery experience. - Collaborative and decisive behaviour style. - Integrity and commitment to ethical practice, equity, and diversity. - Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of human resource concepts and practices and how these are applied within an organisation. - Developed analytical, negotiation and communication skills. - Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver on multiple priorities and projects. **Recognition & Reward** In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.
