**Your Opportunity**
Due to our continued growth, we are now looking for an
**Accounts Payable Manager** to join our team in Osborne Park. Reporting to the CFO, the Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of accountabilities across the Finance function of the business.
This will include to drive and execute strategic initiatives, champion change management and deliver enhanced efficiencies in the Procure to Pay process and systems. Additionally, the role will manage an accounts payable team, and direct the processing of vendor invoices, ensuring vendors are paid on time.
**Your Role**
- Full management of all areas of the Accounts process
- Lead and mentor an established accounts payable team ensuring ongoing growth and development
- Audit and assess corporate procedures with respect to the Accounts Payable Procedures
- Partner with the CFO and the National Procurement Manager to develop and implement the Procure to Pay process of the company
- Primary responsibility for developing and implementing strategies to optimize process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to streamline operations and reporting of the payables cycle
- Be confident in utilizing the existing ERP alongside external reporting tools to report on specific KPIs in the payables cycle
- Provide in depth training to all new hires to achieve the Company’s Procure to Pay objectives
- Ensure all reporting is conducted in a timely, accurate and reliable manner
- Resolve issues arising from accounts payable and responding to and resolving enquiries in a timely and effective manner
- Liaise with site on invoices and authorization
- Prepare and lodge Payment Times Reporting forms as legislated
- Provide advice and recommendations to the CFO and National Procurement Manager (as well as other members of the Company’s senior management team) to ensure best practice in the accounts payable and procurement life cycles
- Ensure Continuous improvement is being achieved in the Procure to Pay process by identifying inefficiencies, including making recommendations to and working with the National Procurement Manager to implement process enhancements, and establishing controls to minimize risks and ensure compliance with relevant laws, such as auditing and financial reporting requirements
**About You**:
- 5-10 years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrated experience at a Supervisor/Team Lead/ Manager level.
- Significant experience working with ERP systems - **_Vista (Viewpoint) is a definite advantage_**:
- Ability to manage change effectively and to think innovatively and strategically
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement, process mapping and change management within a payables function
- Demonstrated experience in the development and regulation of Accounts policies and procedures
- Highly developed interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience in team leadership and performance development
- Strategic financial management experience and proven track-record of successfully working within senior leadership environments

- Although not essential, an understanding of the Construction / Mining / Resources sector - **An advantage**:
