We are looking for an experienced Product Specialist in Industrial Print and we are seeking to employ the brightest and most forward-thinking talent.
The purpose of the Product Specialist - Industrial Print is to provide end-to-end technical and customer support primarily for our cut sheet inkjet and embellishment product range.
The role ensures that all necessary day to day matters, stakeholder management, risks and compliances are managed in a manner that the organisation achieves its goals and builds a great brand reputation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellence in all areas of Customer support including phone and onsite support
- Develop and implement a service strategy for all the Industrial print Inkjet and embellishment range
- Coach, train and support local Service Engineers to allow them to provide first level onsite support
- Support the Sales and Marketing team with customer demonstrations and product information
- Collaborate with the Konica Minolta Inkjet Division and other Konica Minolta Inkjet teams
- Help develop and build the service capability on the product range
- Provide demonstration’s on the equipment at trade events as required
- Advice the National Service Delivery Manager on improving profitability of the product range
- Able to independently perform troubleshooting and diagnose any errors in accordance with the Company’s procedures and instructions, from the customer’s premises
- Repetitive maintenance, repair, and error resolution in line with the Company’s guidelines, under supervision as required
- Corrective Servicing: Analysing, diagnosing and rectifying equipment issues to minimize downtime.
- Preventative Servicing: Service and maintain installed equipment including scheduled maintenance visits.
- Reporting on work performed and attendances at customer premises
- Assistance and support for supervising Field Service Engineer where applicable
- Keeps records of customer premises attendance and work undertaken
- Other duties as directed in accordance with competencies and experience

**Requirements**:
Measurement of Success - Technical and Industry knowledge required for Konica Minolta Industrial printing systems and products
- Detailed understanding of relevant electronics and software for operating the company’s software systems
- Demonstrate competent understanding of relevant mechanical, electrical and electronics and software for operating the company’s Industrial printing systems and products.
- Competent understanding of relevant mechanical and electrical principles
- Competent understanding of relevant electronics and software for operating the company’s Industrial printing systems, products and solutions.
- Identifying and familiarity with parts and components of Company’s Industrial printing systems and products as detailed by the Career Path Competencies determined by the Company annually

Qualifications and Experience
- Technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital and electronic technology
- Minimum three years’ experience in field engineering positions servicing complex electro-mechanical devices
- Knowledge of inkjet printing or offset printing, RIP/ colour theory and materials/ chemicals used in the printing industry
- Knowledge of personal computers, Microsoft Windows operating system
- Self-motivating personality that can independently manage a large service territory (includes effective management of KM assets i.e. parts, tools, company information)
- Good verbal and written communication skills and customer focused
- Advanced level technical and industry knowledge
- Assessed as Competent for Level 1 and Level 2 Fields Service Engineer
- Excellent communication skills
- Great problem-solving skills
- Proficient with online learning systems
- Good hearing and full colour sight
