Every day, Suncare employees are making a difference to real people and making people's lives better. **Suncare Support Worker - what's involved in the role?** We are seeking a part time Support Workers to provide support to our customers in the Caboolture and surrounding suburb region. Hours of work for this role will be a minimum of 40 hours per fortnight, primarily between Monday - Friday (10:00 - 14:00). The role of a Suncare Support Worker actively supports the individual needs of aged people who are living at home, either independently or with family. No two days are the same with our customers and may include delivering personal care, household domestic assistance (cleaning bathrooms, mopping, dusting), meal preparation, accompanying them on shopping trips, appointments, community activities, providing general companionship, and helping them build social networks. **About you** While a background or qualification in community services would be advantageous, more important are the attributes that you possess that speak to our values. We want our customers to have a great experience with our people, and our people need to have a great attitude, be friendly, willing to learn new things, and most importantly listen and understand what the customer wants. For this position you will be required to be physically fit, hold an open Queensland Driver's licence and be willing to use your own vehicle for work purposes, ensuring that your vehicle is appropriately insured. A National Police Check and CPR and First Aid certificates are also required in this position.
