Business Bank (BB) offer a wide range of services and solutions to our small to medium enterprise customers and our regional and agribusiness customers.

**Your Team**

SBB Broker NSW team is primarily responsible for the origination and retention of new to bank and existing clients. Clients are sourced from accredited intermediaries. SBB Brokers is part of the Small Business Banking.

The CommBank Small Business Banking team have a passion for helping Australian small businesses succeed.

The team seek to understand the business and personal goals of business owners and use their expertise and specialist teams to provide tailored financial solutions.

**Your Responsibilities**

In your role as a Business Banker you will be expected to:

- For positioning the Bank to win new business and develops all client relationships to ensure that the Bank provides the majority of each client’s financial needs.
- Actively pursue the identification of opportunities to assist clients meet their day-to-day financial needs and medium-term goals by gaining an in depth understanding of client needs and enlisting the involvement of product specialists in client brainstorming and delivering financial solutions.
- Negotiates commercial terms of transactions with clients and oversee progress of deal execution through to conclusion to ensure timely and efficient delivery of clients’ requirements.
- Maintain close liaison with Risk Management, promoting an in depth understanding of the client and of transaction proposals to ensure the maximum efficiency in obtaining Risk approvals in support of business objectives.
- Build a network of local internal and external contacts to assist the origination of new business, new clients and the gathering of competitive intelligence.

**Your skills and experience**
- Extensive experience in running a client portfolio with proven business origination outcomes
- Extensive knowledge of bank products and financial services products and services
- Commercial lending experience
- Agri Lending experience would be highly advantageous
- Tertiary qualifications in commerce, business or a related field is desirable.

**Location**

The successful applicant will be based in either our Wagga or Sydney office.
