As our People & Culture Officer, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing our people, strengthening organisational culture, and supporting our journey of growth.

**Your Role**

As our People & Culture Officer, you’ll be at the heart of shaping how Moonlight Care supports its people and builds a thriving workplace culture. In this role, you will:

- **Provide end-to-end HR support** - leading recruitment, onboarding, and workforce planning to ensure we attract and retain the best talent.
- **Develop and implement company policies and procedures** that align with best practice, Fair Work, and NDIS requirements.
- **Drive training and development initiatives**, ensuring all staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills they need to deliver safe, high-quality supports.
- **Monitor and ensure compliance** with NDIS Practice Standards, SCHADS Award, and workplace legislation, embedding a strong culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- **Partner with managers and staff** to resolve HR queries, provide expert guidance, and foster engagement and retention.
- **Contribute to organisational projects** that enhance culture, wellbeing, and professional growth, supporting Moonlight Care’s ongoing journey of expansion.

**What We’re Looking For**

We’re seeking a motivated and skilled People & Culture professional who can bring both expertise and heart to the role. To be successful, you’ll bring:

- **A formal HR qualification** (essential).
- **Minimum 2 years’ experience in a HR role**, ideally with exposure to the disability or community services sector (highly regarded).
- **Strong understanding of the SCHADS Award** and Fair Work legislation.
- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**, with the ability to build strong, respectful relationships across all levels of the organisation.
- **Proven conflict resolution and problem-solving skills**, with practical tools and strategies to support positive outcomes.
- **A proactive, open-minded, and solution-focused approach**, with the ability to foster a positive workplace culture.
- **A genuine passion for supporting people** and contributing to a values-driven organisation.
