About the Role
We are thrilled to present an exceptional opportunity to join our People team as an HR & Workers Comp Claims Coordinator in Melbourne. This multifaceted role is designed for a proactive and organized professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be at the forefront of managing workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs, coordinating training initiatives, and supporting a variety of HR projects. Key Accountabilities

Workers' Compensation & Return to Work Coordination
- Manage and process workers' compensation claims.
- Coordinate return-to-work programs in compliance with relevant laws.
- Communicate with injured team members, medical providers, and insurance carriers.
- Maintain accurate claims records and related documentation.
- Develop strategies to reduce workers' compensation costs and improve workplace safety.
- Triage safety and serious incident claims via Zendesk.

Training Program Coordination
- Manage trainee enrolments and contracts.
- Liaise with Apprenticeship Network providers and RTOs.
- Process claims and review invoices, ensuring data integrity.

HR Coordination
- Maintain and prepare people data and reporting.
- Ensure accurate HRIS data and manage inactive team members process quarterly.
- Assist in preparing HR-related documents and presentations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and transparency.
- Support compliance with HR policies and procedures.
- Administer employee benefits programs and respond to inquiries.
- Support the implementation of the people strategy and employee engagement programs.
- No specific experience required; however, a passion for HR, people, and a drive to learn and continuously innovate and improve are essential.
