HumanKapital is a full suite human resources, recruitment and WHS services provider.

**Our client is a highly successful, innovative service and asset operator using their extensive expertise in contract management, systems, infrastructure, finance, WH&S, and risk management. They are searching for an experienced IT Manager to join their organisation to perform a strategic review of their IT requirements and subsequentially develop a roadmap for IT Infrastructure, Operational Technology and Business Systems.**

**ABOUT THE ROLE**

The key responsibilities of this 6-month temporary contract position include:

- Proactively engage and partner with each team to understand current IT Infrastructure, business systems and operational technology requirements, as well as emerging business needs in order to facilitate the successful implementation of strategic and transformation plans.
- Review the maturity, capability and suitability of the Managed Service Provider (MSP), its current service levels and cybersecurity.
- Establish frameworks for management of IT strategy, infrastructure, business systems and operational technology.
- Support the contracting of the MSP, establishing a robust set of SLAs and reporting.
- Develop a coherent Business systems and Operational Technology roadmap that delivers a digital transformation as a strategic source of competitive advantage / improvement.
- Manage the sourcing of suitable business systems solutions in a manner that minimises the complexity of any data management solutions and develop an implementation plan for each system.
- Develop MSP contractual management capability, particularly on service levels and cybersecurity.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Qualification in IT, Business or similar.
- Extensive experience in IT management, specifically in relation to business systems, data architecture and data governance.
- Practical experience with the implementation of business system changes, upgrades and new business systems or products.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders to determine their requirements for business systems improvements and develop cost effective solutions.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to work proactively and take initiative to deliver effective outcomes.
- Work with a level of independence, under broad direction, with a concurrent need to resolve issues and deliver quality outcomes.
- Effective time management skills and ability to work calmly, prioritise duties and meet deadlines in a high-pressure, changing environment.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to exercise discretion and maintain high levels of confidentiality.
