Economic Strategy (ES) branch within the Department of Premier and Cabinet (DPC) is seeking talented and highly motivated Policy Officers to join the team. **We currently have 2 positions available.**
ES Branch plays a vital role in driving the government's economic recovery and reform agenda. It contributes to the development of innovative and impactful economic policies that create a more prosperous and inclusive Victoria.
As the **Policy Officer**, you will provide authoritative advice on the policy and strategic implications of a variety of economic initiatives relating to taxation, housing, finance, regulation, competition, gambling, consumer affairs, workplace safety and local government.
The role requires the ability to provide economic policy advice to inform the development of policies and programs, as well as strong written communication skills and the ability to influence through the preparation of timely and evidence-informed recommendations in a fast-paced environment.

**Other relevant information**
