THE ROLE
Reporting to the Manager, Policy and Improvement, the Policy Officer supports policy and initiatives relating to the Family Violence Information Sharing Scheme (FVISS) and the Victorian Family Violence Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management Framework (MARAM).

The role is responsible for data analysis and governance, delivering high-quality reporting solutions, and maintaining secure, scalable data repositories that enable evidence-based policy development and decision making.

The role operates within a complex and dynamic environment that requires capacity to exercise sound judgement, and the ability to proactively develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.

Accountabilities Include

  • Collect, evaluate and analyse data on implementation progress and reform outcomes, and develop and maintain data products, including dashboards, to provide business-as-usual analytics.
  • Develop meaningful insights and reporting to support oversight of implementation progress and contribute to continuous improvement in data collection and monitoring.
  • Support policy and project development, consultation, advice and delivery of the Policy and Improvement team's program of work
