Our Company is a brand owner, importer & distributor of Asian foods based in Kings Park. An opportunity exists for a full time Logistics Administration Assistant for an immediate start to join our small and growing team, reporting to the Logistics Manager.

This is a fast paced environment so your tasks will be diverse and challenging, giving you the opportunity for both scope in your day to day activities and the ability to demonstrate as much initiative as you possess.

Main duties and responsibilities include but not limited to
- Act as a point of contact for inbound & outbound logistics coordination.
- Responsible for the review, verification, and reconciliation of shipping documents.
- Responsible for preparing shipping documents such as Commercial invoices, Packing lists, B/L, Certificate of Origin etc for export shipments.
- Assist with shipment scheduling, customs clearance & ensure all import/export shipments are processed before stock arrives at its destination port.
- Assist with monitoring stocks and managing inter-warehouse transfers (3PL providers)
- Assist with arranging cartage and monitoring container movements including delivery, unpack & de-hire.
- Assist with processing EDI orders and invoicing.
- Assist with accounts payable, accounts receivable and month end closing as required.
- Assist with general accounts administration and support

To be considered for this role, you'll have the following skills & attributes
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a logistics or related role
- A strong work ethic/demonstrate initiative and a team player
- Strong attention to details and follow-up skills
- Have an inquisitive mind and willingness to learn & acquire new skills
- Microsoft Office experience
- A second language is preferred but not mandatory

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $59,999.00 per year
