The **Logistics Coordinator, ANZ & Hong Kong** is responsible for performing logistics and administrative functions on behalf of Cepheid, this role plays an integral part in providing exceptional logistics support. The role will undertake various administrative tasks such as inventory management, coordinating inventory requirements and shipments, international and local transportation, responding to customer requests, SAP and Microsoft Office processes, and assisting the logistics teams in day-to-day logistics activities. This role will be responsible for local logistics from the time the goods depart manufacturing facilities until they reach the customer for ANZ & HKG.
This position is part of the Logistics team and will be located in Sydney, NSW.
**In this role, you will have the opportunity to**:
- Ensure all transactions meet internal, local and international compliance requirements, and provide back-office support to the Sales, Marketing and Service Teams performing logistics activities while providing relevant information as required.
- Coordinate incoming shipments into SAP, ensure the stock count is accurate through regular cycle counts and stocktakes and stock quality is maintained by appropriate segregation and disposition of damaged and expired stock.
- Analyze all aspects of logistics to determine the most cost-effective or efficient means of transporting products or supplies, ensure that all logistics processes are documented and that the processes meet corporate compliance guidelines. Prepare & maintain SOPs as required.
- Liaising with the 3rd party warehouses in AU, NZ, & HK by ensuring:
Day-to-day operations meet Cepheid logistics and quality requirements.
Operations meet the defined service level requirements including local shipping arrangements
- Ensure 3PLs maintain the SLA’s agreed and review KPIs on a weekly, monthly, quarterly & annual basis and that our 3rd party logistics partners follow best practices and processes and will be responsible for measuring their KPIs, ensure that KPIs, Metrics and reporting is conducted weekly, monthly, or as required.
**The essential requirements of the job include**:
- SAP experience WM/IM, Inventory management and planning experience, experience in the importation, trade compliance and warehousing processes
- Certificate in Logistics Management, Supply Chain or Administration and Thorough understanding of logistics and supply chain concepts
- At least One-year experience working in IVD/molecular diagnostics or similar industry with knowledge of medical/pathology/scientific terms an advantage
- Excellent customer and interpersonal skills, well organized, able to multi-task, able to work with multiple groups internally and externally, strong work ethic.
- Strong general computer literacy with Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
**It would be a plus if you also possess skills/experiences such as**:
- Strong customer service focus, customer satisfaction oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Worked on global projects with a focus on ANZ, Hong Kong or APAC countries
