- About the Role- We have multiple exciting opportunities across Copper South Australia Major Projects and Copper South Australia Asset Projects for Specialists to join the Projects Commercial teams based in Adelaide (ad-hoc travel to site only).- These positions can offer exceptional flexible work options including school-holiday flexibility, part-time and other options.- In this role you will:
- Develop strategies, undertake sourcing, execute new contracts and manage change compliant with corporate governance requirements and relevant statutory obligations
- Provide contract management support (including administration and leading negotiations) to project teams throughout the contract life cycle
- Monitor performance of work under contract at both project and portfolio levels in line with contracted Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to become a highly valued contract expert, trusted with commercial support
- Understand and implement principles and methods of dispute avoidance and resolution
- About You- To be successful in this role you will have:- Experience in a contract and/or commercial role, ideally within a major projects and/or construction environment (eg. mining, defence and infrastructure)-
- Sound commercial acumen and financial evaluation skills, with excellent judgement to deliver the best outcomes for our business-
- Experience on construction projects negotiating contract terms, as well as setting contract and procurement strategies for complex projects-
- A collaborative and inclusive approach, with advanced communication skills-
- Strong multi-tasking and organizational management skills- It will also be beneficial to have (but not essential)-
- Tertiary qualifications in quantity surveying/procurement, construction management, engineering, business, finance or legal studies-
- Experience with complex contract models including EPC, EPCM, D&C and partnering- Applications close 8th November**About Our Process**
