**The Opportunity**:
John Holland is currently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to support the Major Projects division in Adelaide. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will be responsible for the following:

- Ensure the establishment and maintenance of a register of subcontractors and identify all key data in relation to each subcontract
- Ensure selected subcontractors and suppliers are acceptable to the project.
- Conduct negotiations with subcontractors and ensure all subcontractor agreements are closely aligned to the project’s risk management principals
- Oversee the procurement process for all subcontract and supply agreements to ensure that all packages are awarded on time and within budget
- Lead the identification and quantification of Head Contract Scope changes and all subsequent negotiations with the Client
- Manage any disputes or major claims with subcontractor or the Client
- Oversee the preparation of monthly progress claims for work completed and approve disputed progress payments to subcontractors as referred by contract administrators

**About You**:

- Tertiary Qualifications in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
- Experience with Industrial projects with significant M&E components
- Significant experience in a Contracts and Commercial Management capacity on complex infrastructure projects
- Strong leadership skills and experience leading contracts administration teams
- Good communication and negotiation skills
