**About the Role**:
We are seeking a dedicated Day Roster Officer to join our Bulk West Team based in Welshpool. This role is offered on a full-time permanent arrangement. As a Day Roster Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining effective rosters, crew deployment, and operational systems, ensuring safety, compliance, and customer service.

** Key Responsibilities**:

- **Resource Allocation**: Allocate resources for scheduled services based on operational requirements.
- **Service Plan Management**: Assist with managing changes to service plans, asset loading, and resource allocations. Address customer requirements and impacts of major disruptions.
- **Roster Management**: Ensure safety-compliant crew rosters are accurate, entered into systems, and maintained to meet operational needs.
- **Crew Deployment**: Place competent operational employees on rosters and monitor their deployment to meet operational demands.
- **Fatigue Management**: Monitor fatigue management in line with rostering principles.
- **Customer Service Support**: Aid the deployment team by handling phone calls and administrative tasks to provide excellent customer service.
- **Train List Information**: Provide accurate and timely train list information to customers.

- **System Proficiency**: Ability to effectively use roster, crew allocation, train running, and fatigue management systems.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work effectively as part of a team and deliver results.
- **Problem-Solving**: Capability to identify operational issues and collaborate on solutions.
- **Analytical Skills**: Good analytical skills and excellent time management.
- **Industrial Instruments**: Experience with interpreting relevant Industrial Instruments such as Enterprise Agreements.
- **Communication**: High-level verbal and written communication skills.
- **Interpersonal Skills**: Excellent interpersonal skills to relate well with employees and customers.
