**About the role**
This position is responsible for welcoming and assisting visitors to the Wentworth Point facility, delivering outstanding customer service and directing visitors to spaces around the facility, liaising with contractors, suppliers and assisting other facility staff as required.

**The venue assistant will need to be available to work on a rotating roster.**

Key Responsibilities:

- Be the initial point of contact for customers, maintain a positive and friendly presence to assist with answering enquiries, facility bookings and complaint handling.
- Maintain knowledge of the activities and services offered at Wentworth point facility.
- Assist with administration tasks
- Set up and pack down furniture and equipment before and after events when required
- Ensure a high standard of venue presentation and cleanliness across the facility.

**About You**

You will also bring:

- Recognised tertiary qualifications in Customer Service, Tourism, Retail, Events or related industry, or demonstrated equivalent industry experience.
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide high quality customer service including excellent language skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise visitor needs and tasks.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Awareness of principles and practices of anti-discrimination, Equal Employment Opportunity and Work Health & Safety

**What’s on offer**

**Permanent Full-Time position.**
We are offering an attractive remuneration from $80,824 to $88,414 plus 11.5% superannuation.
