**Assistant Brand Manager**
At Bayer Consumer Health, we are looking for a creative and forward-thinking Assistant Brand Manager who will play a pivotal role in brand and portfolio performance. You will coordinate all aspects of the brand's life cycle to meet our business objectives. Reporting to the Head of Marketing Consumer Health, you will work in a hybrid environment, with a minimum of 3 days in our Pymble office.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Brand Strategy**:
- Contribute to research, analytics, development, and execution of effective brand strategies that drive the marketing mix to maximize positive consumer impact while staying within budget.
- Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social, and traditional media.
- Ensure brand material is consistent across all touchpoints. Foster an integrated through-the-line approach, connecting category and sales teams.
**Portfolio Management**:
- Manage assigned product portfolio groups to drive profit maximization.
- Support reporting of analytics, review, and development for the brand portfolio.
- Provide accurate and timely category insights.
- Management of the P&L spend, always striving to maximize ROI.
- Review NPD opportunities and develop robust business strategies.
- Actively participate in team events and conferences.
- Manage monthly forecast adjustments by integrating feedback from supply chain and sales teams.
- Provide sales and territory managers with relevant marketing materials, product images, and copy for trade advertising. Monitor and report on sales versus budget overruns or shortfalls and promotional expenditures.
**Skills and Qualifications required for success**:
- Experience working with multinational consumer health brands is essential.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles and strategies.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Office and Aztec/IMS.
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing or Business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Proven experience in managing a P&L and financial tracking.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously within strict marketing frameworks and guidelines. Excellent planning and time management skills.
