**The Opportunity**

**Key activities of this role include**:

- Lead the delivery of a “Greening the Birrarung” guide to revegetation and maintenance in a changing climate.
- Facilitate the collaborative planning, developing, and implementation ofthe Greening the Birrarung (GTB) project plan.
- Lead the identification of opportunities to enhance our approach to revegetation and pest animal and plant management along the Birrarung (Yarra River)
- Coordinate project delivery and lead inter-agency planning across our partner organisations (includes Traditional Owner Corporations, Local Councils and Government agencies).
- Build strong relationships with key external stakeholders across the Responsible Public Entities and actively contribute to delivering collaborative engagement and outcomes.

**About You**
- You have experience in restorative ecology, vegetation programming and pest plant and animal management.
- You possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build confidence of stakeholders through facilitation, presentations and in meetings.
- You are experienced in working in/with local councils and/or state government agencies, Traditional Owners and their representative bodies.
- You have experience in systems theory - looking at complex situations from a holistic perspective, identifying key relationships, obstacles and seeking out diverse opinions.
