Exciting role for an experienced Supply Planner to join our supply chain planning team in Dandenong VIC. We have a highly engaged team that prioritises training and personal development whilst staying focused on lifting our customer service rates and improving our inventory profile.

This role will be responsible for ensuring the timely supply of products within their portfolio whilst working collaboratively with the product managers and suppliers to help us achieve our inventory and customer service goals. We have a large SKU range (450,000 items) and a network of 100+ downstream planning locations so if you are looking to get stuck into a complex challenge that not only allows you but actively encourages to look at better ways of working this could be the role for you.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Manage** the inbound supply of materials for a nominated portfolio
- **Create**, review, and execute purchasing plans within budgets and targets
- **Review** open POs for potential changes and new PO recommendations that will keep the plan moving
- **Build **and **maintain** stakeholder relationships with focus on accurate communication
- **Analyse **purchasing processes to eliminate negative impacts through continuous improvement
- **Implement **the most efficient cost-to-serve model using existing organisational knowledge

**What you need**:

- **Proven experience** in a supply planning or purchasing environment including working closely with suppliers
- **Knowledge **of supply chain concepts, including how safety stock levels can be influenced
- **Computer literate** at an Intermediate level with Excel
- **Curiosity **to look at problems to determine their cause and potential improvements
