Perth Airport is Australia’s Western Hub connecting the people, businesses and communities of Western Australia with the rest of Australia and the world. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the year, Perth Airport plays a significant role in providing economic, social and cultural benefits to West Australians.
We strive to provide a lasting first and last impression and a seamless, quality travel experience for our domestic, interstate and international visitors.
The Perth Airport estate is spread over 2100 hectares and has developed a $1.3 billion portfolio of existing industrial premises and significant vacant land holdings.
We service a truly diverse community and play an important role in strengthening cultural, family and social bonds while supporting business, tourism and leisure travel.
Our team are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Transport Planner to join Perth Airport.
**What you’ll do**:
In this dynamic role as a Transport Planner, you'll be instrumental in guiding the strategic development of Perth Airport's transport infrastructure.
Your focus will be on ensuring that road, public, and active transport facilities align with the airport's master plan and strategic goals. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to plan and design transport solutions that support the airport's growth and connectivity.
Your contributions will include initiating studies, managing resources for landside planning projects, and integrating ground transport considerations into the airport master plan. You'll also engage in continuous improvement efforts, leveraging best practices and innovative technologies to enhance Perth Airport's transport systems.
**About you**:
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant Engineering, Science or Planning fields.
- At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role, with a focus on multi-modal transport planning and design highly desirable.
- Excellent presentation skills and the ability to develop rapport with external and internal stakeholders.
- Experience managing various stakeholders through complex planning and design studies highly preferred.
- High-level analytical skills with a creative approach to transportation planning.
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and able to work effectively within a team.
- Disciplined in meeting deadlines with a high degree of professionalism. Your proactive decision-making and risk assessment skills will ensure that Perth Airport remains a leader in ground transportation planning.
**About Us**:
We offer a dynamic and supportive team culture, a contemporary workplace with great facilities and a modern approach to work/life integration, with flexible work times. Our competitive remuneration package comes with additional company benefits including free parking.
Doing the right thing by the planet and future generations is important to us. At PAPL we place a strong emphasis on embedding sustainability throughout our business strategy and operations. We remain steadfast in our commitment to driving ESPG (Environmental, Social, People, Governance) performance across our value chain and areas that have material environmental and social impact.
