**About the role**

The Regional Aged Care Quality Advisor plays a pivotal role in driving high standards of care across Grampians Health Residential Aged Care Communities. This role provides expert guidance, supports continuous quality improvement initiatives, ensures compliance with aged care legislation and standards and fosters a culture of excellence and person-centred care. Acting as key liaison between care teams and leadership, the advisor ensures consistent implementation of Grampians Health Governance Framework, aged care procedures and best practice across GH.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
Provide expert support on compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards, particularly the Strengthened Aged Care Standards from November 202
- 5 Lead and monitor continuous improvement initiative
- s Undertake audits, reviews, and risk assessments to ensure quality and safety and car
- e support care community managers and care teams with training, mentoring and interpretation of clinical governance requirement
- s Review incidents, trends and support implementation of quality improvement initiative
- s Collaborate with leadership to develop and maintain quality improvement plan
- s Act as liaison for accreditation, regulatory reporting and complaints managemen
